Showing Up

I am showing up for myself, and Adam is showing up for me. This weekend I spent with Cal in Sunny St. Pete. Our first sign was while we were driving around an ultra-rich neighborhood looking at mansions. Cal decided to put his 4,000 songs on shuffle, and first up was "Imagine," the Jack Johnson version. The song I used in Adam's memorial video. Cal said he didn't even know he had this song. I said, Yeah, Adam is telling us he likes this neighborhood, and I do feel he was into this kind of opulence.

The second sign was later that evening. We were watching sunset on Sunset Beach on Sunday. The clouds were stunning all throughout the sky, but the clouds directly in front of the setting sun looked like a dragon to me. Adam was born in 1988, year of the Dragon, while my parents were living in China. They brought back many dragon trinkets and were overjoyed that Adam, their first grandchild, was born in the luckiest year. I have only seen a dragon cloud one other time, and I think they are pretty amazing. Thank you for showing up for us, Adam.
